Today we are blogging about our experiences in flash, the tutorials, the best part of our game, and the special effects our game will have. We have accomplished a lot of stuff in flash we learned a lot about the flash progam. There are a lot of things you can do in flash a lot more than I thought you could. This year we have watched a lot of tutorials in flash such as how to add buttons, animation, and at the begginning of the year we wached a basic flash tutorial. These tutorial helped me learn a lot about flash. Our game will have a lot of sound effects to go with every scene and also a lot of animation. By doing this it will make the game more fun to play and it will also be more interactive. The best part of our game is probally the design is very unique since were girls and our game is about rockets. Our design plan is made for boys or girls.

Online Educational Games
There are thousands of educational games online and I think educational games are good for children who go to school. Educational games are a fun way to learn new stuff and still have fun. I have played a lot of educational games such as on study island and coolmath. Also for my nintendo ds I used to play a game called Brain Age. I learned a lot from playing these games such as how to plot points, exponents and about rounding numbers to the nearest whole. These games create a great new learning experience for students. I really enjoy playing these games online.

Three things I like About My Game and 1 Thing I need to Improve
Well even though my game isn't complete I know what the game is going to look like. The three things that I like are the design, the objective, and the graphics. I want the design to match the theme so it will all go together. The objective is how the game works and what the player has to do to win the game. I want the graphics to be really unique and unusual. The one I thing I would like to improve is the gameplay. I would like to make it move interactive with the player and that would make if fun to play!

What I Accomplished this week in Flash!
This week we have been mainly trying to make sure our instruction screenand title screen is complete. The title scene was complete so we worked on the instruction screen. This week me and my partner accomplished making my instruction screen and making sure that my buttons work on that screen. We are still working on this screen with the sound and some of the design. This screen will be completed in no time!

My favorite thing about Globaloria!
Well so far i've worked on a lot of stuff in Globaloria. My favorite would have to be working with animations. Animations isn't really that hard and I think it's really fun. Also I like the topic drawing scenes. It gives me a chance to be creative and do my work. I have enjoyed learning a lot of different things in Globaloria and I can't wait to learn more.

Presenting My Demo!! :)
At first I thought that presenting my demo was going to be really hard and I was really nervous. I wasn't sure about what I was going to say. After I got started I realized it wasn't hard at all. I actually liked presenting it. Some of the comments were like how can you make it more interactive for the player. So my team member and I thought about the comment and decided to change the game up a little bit. We added a timer and we added a new scene where you have to put in the coordinates to where you want to launch. By doing this we think it will help the player be more engaged in the game and will like playing it more. I liked everything about presenting our game it really helped us understand more about making games.

My Development Topic!
This week we are blogging about the hardest part of our math concept. Our math concept is plotting. The hardest part to a lot of people about plotting is to know if you go across or up first. When you first learn about plotting that is probably the hardest part. To help other people learn more about how to plot I would probably give really good instructions in my game. They could also look up a tutorial on the topic. So that's what I think is the hardest concept to learn! <3
